BOHEMIAN

Nomadic traipsing, against mass

oddly few but more than enough

some here

others there, made of

fir and hemlock, or palm, or oak

carbon-constructed light, titanium

beams holding up this, notion

of nation, but some rebel and

hang up the phone, dial tone

natural selection

a coterie of quirk squirts from

local hydrants, energy distilled

ciphers spill and puff, awareness

erupts twixt one and another one

all, but not many when lined up

share and spread the fare, free

from the grain, granite obstruction

switching off, tomes cracked open

stones, sticks, aesthetic fixed

less lasts longer, together

in action

sliding up avenues, writing down

avocados, strawberries, oranges

in the city, in the yard, tending

to hang loose, ready and nimble

tracing lines with pupils, all day

observing whole systems, watching

the everybody swim, with the current

media mentions social in socal

go now, bye, I’m moving

on and on
