ALAS LORD MUCK

In the artist’s words:

I am an artist, sculptor and painter using mixed media, oils and acrylics.

I have exhibited my art internationally including Germany, USA, Belgium, UK and have worked on collaborative projects with other artists, dancers, and photographers throughout Europe. Much of my work focuses on the complexities of the human condition as shown through surreal expressions of people and sculptures, illustrating such emotions as love, hate, greed, wonder, sadness, self awareness etc, and usually with a story to tell.

My latest works have been inspired by music festivals that I have attended where I try to capture the vitality, colour, excitement and general eccentricities of the participants.

In the 70’s I wrote an illustrated book in rhyme, called Alas Lord Muck. The subject was not generally discussed but today it is so relevant in our modern society that I have been encouraged to get the book published to educate young adults and older children in an effort to help save our world.
