About the author:
Kevin Healey is an Associate Professor of Media Studies at the University of New Hampshire, where he writes and teaches about digital culture, religion, and ethics. His essays appear in places like Salon and Huffington Post. He has been writing, performing, and recording original music since 1996. His songs are best described as alternative psychedelic rock. All of his music is self-produced and self-promoted. After receiving tenure at UNH, he returned to songwriting after a long hiatus, and has completed two original songs, “Steam and Grind” and “Timeless Souls Hesitate,” which will appear on a forthcoming album.

In the artist’s words:
I am currently living in the county of Dorset, UK, raising my twin daughters. I’m an emerging photographer / photo-artist using digital photography with a leaning towards the abstract. With an insatiable wanderlust I am deeply influenced by travel, nature, the outdoors and the sea and this is reflected in much of my work in which I have drawn upon my experiences, knowledge and feelings gained in such environments. A fan of deserted beaches, remote environments, cats and chocolate in any order.
