Wild by Alexey Adonin

hope I

i can tell you i’m failing this simulation
and that’s what you might expect
but such an oversight cannot be true
for there is no world of ours unspoken
and no honest word for this
strange object
in our verse of survival

in an accident among thieves
you’re dreaming and i’ve entered
a lost soldier remembering himself in battle
questioning how at all this was possible
              he’d experienced death
              yet somehow survived

my life is a reflection of your deepest secret
you are both your mother and my friend
we are dreaming this dream together
you see
such an arbitrary idea like ours
is the concept of an elaborate alternate
tensioned by the identity of the metahuman
and its rage against nature
life will once again evolve into its most authentic

                                                                       over time
                                  ove r t im e
0 v e r t 1 me

i watch the deer as they eat from the trees

In the artist’s words:

An abstract-surrealist artist, Alexey Adonin has dedicated over one and a half-decade to convey his vision of hidden otherworldly realms. Alexey believes that art is not only a way to express ourselves but also a unique key to unlocking the knowledge of the hidden world. In his creative endeavor, he tries to apply a more philosophical approach and to hint at the mystical origin of all things. Alexey mostly strives to get away from banal copying of reality, preferring instead to create one of his own—something that somehow reflects his inner world.
